It seems like these days, everyone is a make-up artist. And it’s true; so many girls are getting really creative with their make-up, and it’s lovely to see!

But the downside to this is that the professional make-up artist is being devalued. In a world where you can take a make-up course and in a matter of weeks, become ‘qualified’, I wanted to help you understand why I believe a professionally trained make-up artist is the best choice for your wedding make-up.

WE CAN HANDLE IMPERFECTIONS PROPERLY

During my HND course in Make-up Artistry, I was trained in all coverage work, in colour correction techniques and how to deal with skin abrasions. When you book with me and have your trial, we can talk over all of this and I can advise what the best thing to do is.

You may need a little extra time on the wedding day for specialist make-up work, which we can factor in. Whether it’s scarring, acne or rosacea, it’s not a problem for a professionally trained MUA.

WE ARE READY FOR ANYTHING

As a wedding make-up artist, I can promise you I’ve seen everything that can possibly happen on a wedding morning, and I’m fully prepared for everything! I’m not just talking about make-up related disasters either. I am experienced in dressing the bride and bridesmaids. I’ve even got the grooms into kilts! I’m not just a make-up artist who comes to do your wedding make-up, I’m an integral part of the wedding morning.

YOU NEED MAKE-UP THAT LASTS

I know all of the tricks of the trade for long-lasting make-up that not only looks great in person, but photographs beautifully. This is so important for a wedding! I spend time perfecting every last detail. Bridal make-up is different from a Saturday night out look; it needs to look amazing close up when you’re talking to your guests, and hold up under the bright lights of your photographer.

FINALLY… YOU DESERVE THE BEST!

It’s the most important day of your life, so don’t risk not feeling or looking your best by hiring an amateur make-up artist, or trying to do it yourself. I’ve done make-up for so many professional make-up artists’ own wedding days too because they know that on your wedding morning, you’re a bag of nerves and even the best MUA wouldn’t be focussed properly.

You deserve to look and feel so special – make sure you hire a professional wedding make-up artist that you can trust and rely on to make you look your absolute best.

I’d love to hear all about your wedding!
